Camelia Mohebi (b. 1978, Dubai) is a multidisciplinary Emirati Artist whose expansive practice spans painting, sculpture, multimedia installation, and sonic experimentation. With over two decades of artistic inquiry, her work moves fluidly across material, sensorial, and metaphysical realms—probing themes of identity, memory, healing, and transformation. Mohebi's practice is deeply rooted in an embodied and intuitive methodology that merges aesthetic form with energetic frequency.

Raised between the UAE, Iran, and Switzerland, Mohebi draws from a richly diasporic consciousness. Her formative years in theater and the visual arts, paired with academic training in visual communication at the American International University in London, laid the foundation for a practice that blends narrative symbolism with spiritual abstraction. She further expanded her creative lexicon through studies in documentary filmmaking, jewelry design, fashion, and integrative healing modalities including NLP, Theta Healing, and Art Therapy.

Mohebi's recent body of work explores the poetics of sound and energy—incorporating binaural frequencies, quantum resonance, and chromatic fields to create immersive installations that invite inner stillness and emotional release. A pivotal shift occurred during a two-year period of voluntary media isolation, during which she developed a process of listening to subliminal messaging and sound wave therapy. These investigations now underpin the acoustically infused, vibrational quality of her recent works.

Her visual language often features radiant color palettes, gestural layering, and ritualistic mark-making, acting as portals into expanded states of perception. By transforming gallery spaces into sensorial sanctuaries, she positions art as a modality for inner alignment and collective healing.

Mohebi's work has been exhibited in the UAE and internationally, including solo presentations such as Signals at Sotheby's Dubai and Gallery 54 in London. She has participated in group exhibitions including Made in Tashkeel and the Dubai Calligraphy Biennial at Dubai Design District.

In 2023, she founded The Sima Collective, a transdisciplinary platform dedicated to nurturing artistic consciousness through residencies, workshops, and exhibitions.
